Q. Will ScanWiz work with my scanner?
A. It should work perfectly with all Twain compliant scanners, I would suggest that download the free trial & check everything works ok
Q. What version of Adobe Reader (Acrobat) is needed to read documents produced by ScanWiz ?
A. Adobe Reader V3 upwards
Q. Can I use my scanners document feeder and or duplex functions ?
A. Yes ScanWiz works with all scanner functions.
Q. What is the best resolution to use for this scan software?
A. 200dpi is fine for most documents but if you have very small print then 300dpi would be better, higher resolutions will just produce huge PDF files and slow scanning down.
Q. Can I produce color PDF documents ?
A. Yes, ScanWiz has advanced compression for color images which makes the files smaller while still retaining excellent quality.
Q. Can ScanWiz produce searchable PDF's ?
A. No the PDF's created contain images only.
Q. Does ScanWiz work with Windows 7 ?
A. Yes both Scan to PDF and ScanWiz are fully tested on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit
